Ethical Trade, fresh roasted, whole bean coffee in Thunder Bay since 2013. We roast in small batches that are carefully tended to achieve the highest quality coffee.
This exceptional coffee is decaffeinated using fermented sugar cane juice in order to retain the essential coffee flavour.
Expect a very smooth coffee with a very nice mouthfeel and a medium finish.
Our Colombian E.A. (ethyl acetate) decaf is special in more ways than one: First, it’s cupped specifically for quality and sourced by single origin, either region or farm. It is custom decaffeinated in Colombia, using a special, natural process derived from fermented sugarcane. The beans will contain a maximum of 0.01–0.03% caffeine.
Tasting Notes: Mellow, sweet and clean with lemon flavour and a nutty aftertaste.
